Oneness of God from Qur’an and Bible

🍂 Islamic Belief in the One Supreme God:

Muslims hold a foundational belief in a single, all-powerful God who stands alone with no associates or equals. This is the same divine being who sent forth prophets like Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them) to guide humanity throughout history.

God in Islam is called Allah, and He is entirely singular, unmatched, and without flaw. He has no partner in His authority, no rival in His essence, and no equal in His attributes. Allah does not rely on food, drink, or rest—He is beyond all human limitations.

He was not born, nor did He give birth. He has no parents, no children, no spouse, and no familial connections. Allah is completely independent and self-sufficient.

Muslims firmly affirm that Allah is the absolute Owner and Master of all creation. He alone brought everything into being and continues to oversee every aspect of the universe. Only He deserves to be worshipped, and anything else people direct worship toward is considered invalid in Islamic teaching.

🍂 The proofs and evidences from Quran and Bible that Allah is one:

🌷 As stated in the Qur’an:

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala says:

“And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.”

(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 163)

Allah is described with the most exalted qualities—He is flawless in every way and free from any form of deficiency. His names and attributes reflect majesty, perfection, and glory.

🌷 In Bible:

This idea of divine unity is also supported in earlier scriptures. For example, in the Christian Bible, Jesus is reported to have said:

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Mark 12:29)

Thus, in Islam, God is singular, eternal, and perfect in all ways—worthy of devotion and worship without any partner or intermediary.
